The UrbanDictionary defines Cyclocross as “previously obscure, esoteric type of bicycle racing sport originating in Europe in the early 1900s”. Join us at high noon on September 18th at the Ski Stadium @ Mt. MacIntyre to find out why the qualifier of “previous” is emplyed in this definition.
There is no. way. that one can have more fun on a bicycle than at a ‘cross race. One of the fastest growing genres of bike racing, ‘cross combines all your favourite parts of mountain biking, road riding, gravel riding and … well… running, into one, wildly entertaining spectacle. Heckling is encouraged, creative attire is welcome, fitness is not required, but a willingness to ride hard through all sorts of terrain and conditions is a MUST. Do not miss this.
Course will be open for pre-riding and warm up at 11am.
