Exciting news, hot off the presses, it’s taken a long time in the making but we got it done!!! CMBC and Velonorth Cycling Club have joined forces to engage more riders and to cross pollinate our clubs based on the surge of gravel bike usage and the huge amount of mountain bikers in town. We are combining the Royalty of the Canyon (Aug 22) and the Gravel Growler (Sept 19) events into “The Series” for even more prizes to be handed out.
Eligibility for “Series” prizes.
-Must compete in both ROC and Gravel Growler events.
-Must become a member of both clubs.
-Must volunteer for either Velonorth or CMBC for 1 hr to qualify. Volunteering options include: CMBC trail nights (3 upcoming), deflagging (ROC, GG), set up, help organize, clean up, take down, photographer, help organize the inside of Velo or CMBC trailer, etc. There are no shortage of opportunities to be had. Prizes:
Overall winner best combined times women and men.
– 3x draw prizes for competing and volunteer efforts.
– Biggest heart/effort award for male and female (idea stolen from Shredhers and we love it)
